The Directorate of Digitalization and System Integration at Universitas Sumatera Utara (Ditgrasi USU) emphasizes the importance of behaving wisely when using social media. Through a digital poster titled “Bijak Bermedia Sosial” (Wise in Social Media) uploaded on Ditgrasi USU's Instagram page, they invite the entire academic community (sivitas akademika) to understand that small actions in online activities can have a major influence, both for oneself and the surrounding environment.

In the fast-paced digital era, social media has become an inseparable part of daily life. Information spreads very easily, interactions occur without spatial limits, and every individual has the freedom to access, share, and produce content. However, this freedom brings equally great responsibility. Therefore, Ditgrasi USU believes that education regarding digital ethics is necessary so that the campus community can utilize social media in a more positive, intelligent, and responsible manner.

Through this educational material, Ditgrasi USU wishes to emphasize that being wise on social media does not require grand gestures.
