The official portal of the Student Executive Board (Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa), bem.usu.ac.id, is now officially live. This platform marks BEM USU's commitment to providing services that are more modern, responsive, and easily accessible to all students.
With the slogan “Welcome to the New Era of BEM USU Digitalization,” this portal is expected to serve as an integrated hub providing up-to-date information, organizational services, and student programs quickly and accurately.
The website itself was developed as an official information center featuring various BEM USU activities, ranging from event agendas and important announcements to work program publications. Through a more professional appearance and user-friendly navigation , students can obtain information without having to rely solely on social media or separate communication channels.
The portal is also equipped with dedicated pages to display event documentation, policy publications, and official BEM releases, thereby enhancing the work transparency of the university-level student organization.
This digitalization effort aims to simplify administrative processes, reduce communication barriers, and deliver a more efficient and accountable service experience. The development of bem.usu.ac.id was carried out with the support of the Directorate of Digitalization and System Integration (Ditgrasi) USU as part of the university's commitment to accelerating digitalization within student organizations.
This step is part of the effort to create modern and adaptive organizational governance. It serves not only as an information center but also as a vehicle for collaboration that strengthens the relationship between BEM, students, and various units within USU. With a more organized system, BEM USU can carry out its functions of advocacy, service, and student empowerment more optimally.
