Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is taking a step forward in its effort to realize Good Governance within the campus environment through the launch of the Integrated Asset and Logistics Management System (KALISTA). KALISTA is a digital system owned by USU designed to assist every work unit in managing assets and logistics more efficiently and transparently.
The presence of KALISTA is vital because it will become a mandatory system for capital expenditure starting in 2025. This means that from the recording of acquisition, distribution, and transfer (mutasi), to asset disposal, all processes must be conducted through the KALISTA platform.
The main functions of the KALISTA system include:
- Asset acquisition recording.
- Asset registration & labeling.
- Asset distribution between rooms & work units (satker).
- Asset registration & labeling.
The utilization of KALISTA provides significant positive impacts on campus governance, namely:
- More accurate asset data.
- Transparent transactions.
- Integration with the 2025 Capital Expenditure Accountability Report (SPJ).
This system is required to be accessed and its features mastered by various parties, ranging from goods operators, Heads of General Affairs Sub-divisions (Kasubbag Umum), and logistics staff, to faculty leaders. Through KALISTA, USU affirms its commitment to asset digitalization and transparent financial management.
