USU Holds Technical Training on Google Scholar Synchronization to Boost International Visibility

 Directorate of Digitalization and System Integration (Ditgrasi) at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) continues its efforts to enhance the academic visibility of the campus on the global stage.

This effort was realized through the implementation of Technical Guidance (Bimtek) on the Synchronization of Google Scholar and Lecturer Profiles.

The training was conducted throughout September 2024, specifically targeting lecturers from USU's Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (Fasilkom-TI).

The primary objective of this activity is to improve USU’s visibility in the Webometrics rankings through well-managed and synchronized lecturer profiles, particularly on the Google Scholar platform. This synchronization potentially enhances USU's academic reputation, making the university more accessible and known globally.
