Socialization and Training on the Use of the OBE System at Universitas Sumatera Utara by Ditgrasi

Medan, May 20, 2025-The Directorate of Digitalization and System Integration (Ditgrasi) at Universitas Sumatera Utara held a Socialization and Training Session on using the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) System on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Engineering and attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

 

 

The session was attended by the Heads and Secretaries of 20 Study Programs across various levels within the Faculty of Engineering, including the Undergraduate and Master’s Programs in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Chemical Engineering.

 

 

The event was conducted interactively under the direct supervision of the Ditgrasi director, who also served as the moderator during the training. He allowed the Ditgrasi team to demonstrate the system through simulations, facilitate a Q&A session, and respond to feedback and inquiries from representatives of the Faculty of Engineering.

 

 

This socialization and training session focused on the utilization of the OBE system to streamline the grading input process by OBE assessment criteria. The Ditgrasi team presented a simulation of the OBE system and explained the features that have been developed. Core features include the creation of the Semester Learning Plan (RPS), grade weighting, access to migrated historical data, and generating OBE-based academic transcripts.
