DITGRASI USU Accelerates Campus Digital Transformation: From Employee Performance Logbooks to Internationalization Systems

The Directorate of Digitalization and System Integration (DITGRASI) at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has proven its role as the primary driver of USU's digitalization. Various strategic activities have been carried out this week to push for digital transformation throughout the campus environment.

Here is a summary of DITGRASI's five main activities this week, as reported through the #DigiCampusRecap initiative:

1. MEKAR System Trial DITGRASI began the socialization and initial implementation of the employee logbook system named MEKAR (mekar.usu.ac.id). This trial was conducted in four work units, including DITGRASI itself, as a concrete step toward digitizing employee performance management.

2. Alumni Career Platform Coordination Meeting DITGRASI provided support in planning a digital platform in collaboration with BPRI. This platform aims to serve as a hub for job opportunities and career development information for USU alumni.

3. usu.ac.id Website Monitoring Evaluations were conducted on the main domain as well as faculty/work unit subdomains. This activity involved DITGRASI's team of programmers, translators, and copywriters to improve the technical quality and content of the site.

4. Development of STELLA System DITGRASI continued its collaboration with the Directorate of Internationalization to develop the STELLA system. This system is designed to support the digitalization of campus internationalization processes.

5. OBE System Training Facilitation for the use of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) system was provided to 20 Study Programs at the Faculty of Engineering (FT). This training covered the creation of Semester Learning Plans (RPS), determination of grade weights, historical data migration, and transcript integration.

Through this consistency, DITGRASI stands as the prime mover of USU's digitalization, from performance systems to internationalization, reinforcing the #USUBertransformasi commitment.
