To foster a secure digital culture, DITGRASI emphasizes that while technology simplifies tasks, it also carries risks if not used wisely.

Here is a summary of the 5 essential tips:

  1. Activate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): To prevent unauthorized access, protect your email accounts, information systems, and other digital platforms with two-step verification.
  2. Use Official & Legal Software: Avoid pirated software. Besides being illegal, unofficial software is vulnerable to malware and can steal important data.
  3. Routinely Backup Important Data: Periodically save copies of critical documents (theses, reports, research data) to the cloud and external hard drives.
  4. Beware of Phishing & Scams: Do not carelessly click links from suspicious emails or messages. Always check the sender's address and ensure the information source is trusted.
