Emerson Pascawira Sinulingga B.Eng graduated in Electronics Engineering from the Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2000 and achieved his M.Sc. in Communications Engineering and PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2005 and 2014, respectively. Currently, he works as a Permanent Lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara. He can be contacted at email emerson.sinulingga@usu.ac.id.


Emerson Pascawira Sinulingga graduated with B.Eng in Electronic Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2000 and received M.Sc in Communication Engineering and PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom in 2005 and 2014, respectively. As Director of Ditgrasi, Emerson Pascawira Sinulingga is a designer, maker, and developer who implements work programs and realizes targets. PK, Renstra, and Priority Programs in digitization and system integration so that the digital transformation of Higher Education at USU is carried out. In carrying out his role, he has duties to:

  1. Create an annual work plan and budget;
  2. Elaborate PK, Renstra, and Priority Programs in the form of work programs and activities;
  3. Utilizing digitalization technology in learning according to the latest conditions;
  4. Developing system integration to support digital technology-based learning and USU operations;
  5. Evaluating the process of digitization and system integration in the USU environment;
  6. Utilizing online media as a learning resource towards a digital campus;
  7. Make periodic reports to the Rector; and
  8. Carrying out other additional duties from the Rector.
